David O. Anderson spent his entire life living in St. Louis Park.  He passed away, peacefully at home, at age 72, on September 10, 2013.  He was preceded in death by parents Orin and Alice.  He is survived by brother, Richard, and girlfriend, Linda Stafford, and many cousins and friends.

Dave was a longtime employee at Sears where he worked as a mechanic, and also in the shipping department.  He enjoyed time at the cabin, fishing, good food and fixing things.  His family is particularly grateful to Methodist Hospice for their care of Dave during the final days near the end of his life.

We recall that Dave played varsity football for our St. Louis Park Orioles Team during our sophomore and junior years.  "A common name for an uncommon fellow," is what we said of Dave Anderson in our senior Echowan.  We recall that Dave was a friendly, yet quiet, student in school.
