In Memory

Jane Sincock

Jane Sincock

We fondly remember Jane Sincock.  "She's good for work but better for play," it was said of her.

Jane Marie Sincock died of cancer on July 19, 2005 at the age of 65.  Jane was also fondly known by her family as "Janesky" and "Aunt Jane".  She was survived by her parents Irene and Arthur Sincock; her sister, Marilyn Leadens, and her brother Bill Sincock (also of our Class of '58).

Jane was also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and many wonderful friends.

According to her brother, Bill, after Jane graduated with us in 1958 she decided stay and work in St. Louis Park, where she lived for the rest of her life.  Her working life was spent mostly at Knollwood where she worked at about every store that ever existed there.  She graduated from a college in downtown Minneapolis with a degree in drug addiction counseling.  She even married once; but it "didn't take", and she had no children.  Later in life Jane really enjoyed going to the casinos with her friends once a week and also reading many books that she borrowed from the St. Louis Park Public Library.

Jane's last months were spent under the watchful and grateful care of the staff at Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice whose presence and prayers helped Jane's family through the vigil of her final hours.
