Glen M. Peterson

Glen Peterson was born on August 10, 1940 and passed away on April 8, 2008 at age 67.  He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet Peterson.  Glen and Janet had three children, daughter Denise Peterson, son Kevin Peterson, daughter Brenda Peterson Cousineau, and a loving granddaughter Danielle Cousineau.  Glen's mother, Margaret Peterson, also passed away last summer; so 2008 was a tough year for the Peterson family.

Glen graduated from the University of Minnesota with an Associate Degree -- with an emphasis in Industrial Technology.

Glen spent time in the Navy and retired on a medical discharge in 1967.  After he retired they moved to Long Beach, California, where Glen worked in the aerospace industry and then became involved in building yachts.  He loved the ocean and spent many hours on their personal boat, sailing and fishing.  He also enjoyed building things and remodeled several houses.  He additionally loved is hobbies of model railroading and building model boats.

He retired again in 1986 because of his health; he had multiple sclerosis.  Glen and Janet finally both retired to Gilbert, Arizona in 2000 and he lived there the final eight years of his life.
