Sharon Christopherson

Sharon R. Christopherson

Sharon R. Christopherson, twin sister of Sonja Christopherson, passed away at age 77.  These two sisters were inseparable, as we knew them in high school, and they lived together in St. Louis Park their entire lives.  Sonja continues to live in St. Louis Park.

Sharon passed peacefully on July 6, 2018.  She is survived by her twin Sonja, who says she dearly misses her sister.  Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Mildred, but is survived by nephew Brett D. Johnson, another sister Nancy (Bing) Johnson, and brother Lynn Donald Johnson and also a niece, Stacy Jo (Greg) Vanden Heuvel; four grandnephews; cousins, friends and relatives.

In high school at St. Louis Park, Sharon was a member of the G.A.A. as a junior, a member of the Pep Club in her senior year, and the Brush and Palette Club for both her junior and senior years.  She was a member of the All-School Checking Committee during our senior year.  He sister, Sonja, not surprisingly, was also a member of exactly the same clubs as Sharon.  They were, indeed, an example of twin sisters who were inseparable in all respects for their entire lives.

Sharon was fond of saying, "And although there were times I stepped out of His will, I've never been out of His care."

Sharon's interment was a private event at Grand View Park Cemetery.
