45th Reunion Summary
Summary Report of the 45th Class Reunion
The 45th St. Louis Park Class of ’58 Reunion was held at Breezy Point Resort, in the Pequot Lakes area of Central Minnesota.
At our 40th Reunion classmates seemed OK with the idea of moving our next reunion to a different sort of atmosphere, now that many of us have more time to enjoy a more casual, relaxing venue, with events spread over several days. Invitations were sent out to about 115 people for whom we had current addresses. After receiving responses from about 100 classmates, it became apparent that not everyone thought that a resort environment was appealing; but a sufficient number did, so that we went ahead with the Breezy Point Resort planning. As you will see, moving the reunion “outstate” had a negative effect on attendance.
A quick check of the chart below will remind you of all the locales for our previous class reunions. Hope it brings back pleasant memories, if you came to one or two (or more) of them.

Who Knows? |
As you can see, we haven’t ventured very far away from our old “home turf” until our 45th. Over the years we often joked about how nice it would be if our rich classmates pooled their resources and chartered a private jet to fly us all to Las Vegas, or Hawaii, for our next reunion; but that idea never caught hold (no, we never really expected it, but it was nice dream!).
Who Attended the 45th Class Reunion at Breezy Point?
Some stayed right on the Breezy Point Resort property, at the Breezy Inn and Suites, and others found accommodations off site, but nearby. Some stayed with classmates who happen to live in the immediate area and a few could “pull a few strings” and stay for free at other resorts close by. No matter where we stayed, the fun times we had playing and visiting together was all that really mattered. Here’s the final list of the 45th Reunion’s 56 attendees:

What did we do at the 45th Reunion? We had a lot of fun…but remember, what happens at a resort stays at the resort!
